Today after school I was jogging the cross country course….I ran a little farther than the last time….so BOO-YAH!! :) I’m not exactly sure how much though….gonna have to ask the ‘ol Athletic Director to guesstimate for me..I tried..but I’m probably off..he knows that course like the back of his friggin hand!! Either way….did ab lab earlier (in aerobics)….then ran after school….it made me feel good about myself….so it HAS to be a good thing…. :)

Today I worked out at the rush….16 min warm-up on the eliptical….then did some strength training and shot some hoops….YAY!! Got my 5 days in this week!! :)

Cross Country Course….

Today I ran a little….Don’t know if I’d really call it running….I like to call it “moving faster than a walk” at the pace that I’m currently moving….but anyway….it was better than nothing….did 100 crunches after the “run”….gotta keep my bet with the sis….couldn’t skip…. :)

Ab Lab….

Today was Ab Lab in my aerobics class….my girls LOVE this day….they look forward to Ab Lab every week….even though it makes them so sore!! It’s really a Love/Hate thing….All we do is abdominal work!! We do the equivilant to about 600 reps….good stuff….

Feelin Worthless….

I haven’t written on here in SOOO LONG!! It’s been a couple of months, which makes me feel kinda worthless!! I have been working out though….just not really running….when school got back into full swing, I found myself swamped with my new position!! However, I do teach an aerobics class 3rd period each day….so I do get paid to workout once a day…. :) ….though this class hasn’t quite built up to my normal level of activity, they’re getting closer!! But I realized last week that I had to start back running!! I have gained 6 lbs since school started back….YUCK!! So last week I began running (or as I call it, moving faster than a walk) - the cross country course at the school….WOW AM I OUT OF SHAPE!!!! I mean, I’ve been working out….but WOW!! My sister and I have a little bet going….so maybe that’ll help keep me motivated!! I’m also gonna try to get back to writing on this page regularly….so wish me luck!! :)

Treadmill Run 7/29

Today I ran at The Rush….it was a pretty good run..knocked 51 seconds off of my previous 3.5 mile time from last Thursday….GO ME!! I’ve really gotta get somewhere local to run outdoors though….in Dalton there’s plenty of sidewalks & places to run….but here in Ft. Oglethorpe there’s NO SIDEWALKS ANYWHERE!! It sucks!! But anywho….good day….totally PuMpEd!! Had a great workout & got great news!! I was promoted to Lead Teacher of the PE Department at the High School where I teach…. :) I interviewed yesterday!! Got the call this afternoon….So excited!! So nervous!! Wish me luck!! :)
